- Auto: follow your operating system's light or dark preference, including changes while the page is open.
- Light: keep the light appearance.
- Dark: keep the dark appearance.
The choice is saved locally in this browser and synchronizes with other tabs on the same site. It is not an account setting shared across devices or different site addresses. If storage is blocked, the choice works for the current visit and the selector reports that it was not saved.
